Job summary

Walmart Canada in Laval, QC is seeking a lead for overnight stocking teams to drive department processes, mentor associates, and respond to issues. You will plan activities based on workload, support on the sales floor when needed, and work with leadership to improve operations.

Responsibilities

• Provides direction and coordinates task completion per priorities from the General Merchandise Coach and Store Management Team.
• Assesses overall presentation of store departments and appearance, noting deficiencies for corrective action and executing merchandising display changes where required.
• Leads daily Team Huddle at the start of each shift and provides the team with updates, sets goals, and tracks productivity.
• Ensures all high-ticket merchandise is secured, all doors and lockups are secured when not in use and completes daily audits as per program.
• Reviews completed schedules with People Lead.
• Tours assigned areas with the Coach and team associates to identify training opportunities and develops associates through teaching and feedback.
• Contributes to a safe, clean and hazard-free work environment through adherence to Company policy and procedures, including safety sweep logs and securing displays and fixtures.
• Completes GTA/Workday tasks and supports Management.
• Partners with Coach/People Lead to facilitate performance and growth conversations for Associates; supports recruiting and hiring new associates.
