Job summary

University of Lethbridge is seeking a Security Representative for a full-time continuing role at our Lethbridge campus. The position provides 24/7 coverage on a rotating 12-hour shift pattern, focusing on safety, patrols, investigations, traffic control, and assisting the campus community.

The ideal candidate will hold a valid Alberta Security Services License, First Aid/CPR, a clean driver record, and be able to patrol in varying conditions.

Qualifications

• Criminal Record Check including a Vulnerable Sector check.
• Valid Class 5 Driver’s License with no more than 6 demerits; motor vehicle record dated within 3 months.
• Valid First Aid / CPR Certificate.
• Valid Alberta Security Services License as per the Act.

Responsibilities

• Provide 24/7 coverage on a negotiated rotating 12-hour shift pattern.
• Patrols and investigations to enhance safety of persons, buildings, property and environment.
• Traffic control and assisting the campus community as required.
• Experience in writing reports as required.
