Job summary

Aramark's Carleton Dining Services is hiring a Barista to join the team on the Carleton University campus in Ottawa. You will serve customers, prepare beverages, and help with food orders in a fast-paced environment.

The role emphasizes friendly customer service, teamwork, and reliability. Experience in food service is an asset, and successful candidates will pass a criminal background check. Hourly pay starts at CAD 19.08.

Qualifications

• Restaurant/coffee shop or food service experience is an asset.
• Must have strong customer service skills.
• Team-oriented, able to work with minimal supervision.
• Must pass a criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service and speedy delivery of beverages and food orders.
• Prepare espresso, coffee and tea beverages.
• Compile orders accurately and in a timely fashion.
• Stock shelves and refrigerators.
• Clean counters and tables, clear service areas and empty garbage.
• Receive payment by debit/credit campus card.
• Adhere to Aramark policies and procedures.
• May perform other duties as required.
