Are you the candidate we’re seeking?

We seek a dynamic, highly motivated Camp Coordinator who embodies our values of compassion, accountability, responsiveness, and empowerment towards clients, families, and colleagues.

The Camp Coordinator, supervised by the Wesley Early Years Supervisor and Manager, will develop camp processes and support/supervise camp staff.

This is a non-unionized, full-time, temporary role from June 23, 2025, to August 15, 2025, subject to funding. Pay is $17.50/hr for 35 hours/week.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design weekly summer camp activities, programs, and themes.
  • Schedule and confirm camp trips within budget.
  • Prepare registration forms, attendance records, and daily logs.
  • Confirm participant registrations.
  • Meet with parents/caregivers regarding fee assistance and assess eligibility.
  • Prepare invoices following existing procedures.
  • Supervise camp staff and participants, including team meetings.
  • Maintain regular communication with parents/caregivers.
  • Ensure health and safety of participants and staff.
  • Participate in all camp activities as a role model.
What You Will Bring
  • Post-secondary education preferred.
  • Relevant studies: Child and Youth, Recreation, Social Service Worker, Social Work, Early Childhood Education.
  • Camp experience is an asset.
