Job summary

Ledcor is seeking an experienced Utility Operator to join a major civil earthworks project in remote northern Saskatchewan. You will operate a range of heavy equipment on site development, mass excavation, grading and pad construction, contributing to safe, productive earthworks operations.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of multi-equipment experience, GPS machine control familiarity is a plus, and a solid commitment to safety and teamwork.

Qualifications

• 3+ years experience operating multiple types of heavy equipment in construction/earthworks.
• Experience on excavators, dozers, graders or loaders.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate heavy equipment on site per project requirements and Ledcor safety standards.
• Perform excavation, grading, loading and earthmoving activities.
• Operate excavators (25T, 35T, 60T), dozers (D6), graders (16M) and loaders (950/966).
• Complete pre-trip inspections and daily equipment reports.
• Coordinate with supervisors, survey teams and other operators to hit production and quality targets.
• Maintain awareness of construction hazards and follow safety policies.
