Job summary

Xcelerated Consulting Group, LLC is seeking a Production Support Specialist to support Calypso in Capital Markets, focusing on Settlements, securities, and prime brokerage. You will act as the SPOC for incident routing and perform basic troubleshooting to maintain platform stability.

The role requires strong back-office knowledge, scripting ability (Python, shell), ITIL processes, and the capacity to work with Traders and Sales under rotating shifts in the Montreal area.

Qualifications

• 5 years of deep domain expertise in Capital Markets and advanced technical troubleshooting.
• Experience with Calypso, Capital Markets, and Trading Settlements.
• Ability to interact with high-stakes stakeholders such as Traders and Sales.
• Proactive mindset with focus on automation to minimize manual errors.

Responsibilities

• Provide production support for the Calypso settlement system within Capital Markets.
• Support the Trade Life Cycle, specifically Settlements, Securities, and Prime Brokerage.
• Act as SPOC to resolve or escalate technical/functional issues.
• Mentor junior staff and contribute to automation initiatives.

• Providing production support for the Calypso settlement system within Capital Markets.
• Supporting the Trade Life Cycle, specifically Settlements, Securities, and Prime Brokerage.

Profile

• Incident routing, functional queries, and basic troubleshooting.
• Acting as a Single Point of Contact (SPOC) to resolve or escalate technical/functional issues.
• Basic knowledge of Capital Markets products and strong motivation for support.
• Platform stability, complex problem management, and mentoring junior staff.
• Proactive monitoring, driving "Production Excellence," and contributing to Al/automation initiatives.
• 5 years of deep domain expertise and advanced technical troubleshooting.

Technical & Functional Skillsets

• Functional: Deep understanding of Back Office functions (Settlement, Accounting, Position Management, STP) and market products (Securities, Bonds, Warrants).
• Automation/Scripting: Python, Shell scripting, Autosys.
• Frameworks: ITIL (ServiceNow, Jira).

Soft Skills & Operational Requirements

• Ability to interact directly with high-stakes stakeholders like Traders and Sales.
• High stress resistance and flexibility to work in rotating shifts or on bank holidays.
