Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with CARNA and completed an approved NP program.
• Master of Nursing focused on advanced clinical nursing practice for all ages.
• Full IFM or A4M qualification.
• BCLS-HCP, AED, and Venipuncture mandatory.
• Asset: Emergency Nursing Course, ACLS, BTLS or similar.
• Asset: CTAS scoring, EKG, lab interpretation.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, treat and manage urgent, acute and chronic illnesses in primary care.
• Order and interpret screening and diagnostic tests.
• Provide medications and therapeutic interventions.
• Counsel on prevention of illness and injury.
• Coordinate care and communicate with the health care team.
• Participate in administration tasks.
