Job summary

Aecon Group is seeking Form Setters for the 2026 road construction season in Calgary, Alberta. This role supports our Calgary Construction Operations group with duties including layout, form setting, and collaboration with the crew.

Qualified candidates will have experience reading blueprints, the ability to lift 50 lbs, a valid Class 5 driver’s license, and a willingness to work overtime and weekends. Aecon prioritizes safety and professional conduct.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Form Setter in road construction.
• Experience reading blueprints is required.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs on a regular basis and stand/walk for long periods.
• Maintains a valid Class 5 driver’s license or better.
• Own vehicle to get to and from jobsite.
• Willing to work overtime and weekends, as required.
• Must comply with the company's drug & alcohol program, including testing requirement.

Responsibilities

• Layout and preparation of concrete formwork.
• Erecting and dismantling concrete forms.
• Following grade to ensure proper placement of form.
• Reading of grades, curbs, and gutters.
• Safe use of hand and power tools.
• Work collaboratively with crew.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
