Job summary

Aecon Concessions in Calgary, Alberta is hiring Asphalt Paving Labourers for the 2026 construction season. You will support our paving division with manual tasks, operate with safety in all weather, and contribute to transportation projects.

Candidates should have good physical strength, the ability to work supervised or unsupervised, a valid Class 5 driver's license, and willingness to work weekends or night shifts.

Qualifications

Must have good manual skills and strength to perform labourer duties.
Must possess ability to work supervised and unsupervised and have strong communication skills.
Must be able to reach, pull, carry, grab, lift in all weather.
Must maintain a valid Class 5 Drivers License.
Ability to work weekends and/or night shift; willing to work overtime.

Responsibilities

Carry out labourer duties in paving operations.
Work in Calgary, AB in varying weather conditions.
Follow safety protocols and site directions.
