Job summary

Tenaquip NIS Limited. is seeking a hands-on Warehouse Supervisor to lead our Calgary warehouse team. You will manage daily operations, guide staff, and ensure safety and accuracy across picking, packing, receiving, and related tasks.

The role requires at least two years of warehouse or distribution experience with previous supervisory exposure, strong organization, and effective communication. English is essential; French is a plus.

  • Previous team lead, lead-hand, or supervisory experience.
  • Hands-on leadership style and willingness to work alongside the team.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Comfortable using warehouse systems, performance indicators, and handheld scanners.
  • Good spoken and written English; French is an asset.
  • Automotive-parts or inventory-management experience is an asset.

Responsibilities

Job description

A key role in leading our Calgary warehouse team and keeping daily operations efficient, organized, and on schedule.

Perform and coordinate daily warehouse activities, guide and support employees, and ensure operational priorities are completed safely, accurately, and on time.

  • Schedule: 40 hours per week, Monday to Saturday, with shifts scheduled between 6:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m.
  • Perform picking, packing, replenishment, receiving, and other warehouse duties. Help organize daily tasks and support employees on the warehouse floor.
  • Monitor workflow, productivity, and order accuracy.
  • Train new employees on procedures, equipment, and safety requirements.
  • Address operational issues and communicate concerns to management.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized workplace.
