Qualifications

Bachelor of Commerce in Finance, Economics or Math (or MBA) is required or asset.
Strong financial analysis, underwriting, and reporting skills.
Expert level Excel knowledge including formulas, pivot tables, and charting.
Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Analyze commercial mortgage investments with mortgage professionals.
Evaluate investment quality via operating statements, rent rolls, financials and third-party reports.
Prepare proformas, cash flow models, and project underwriting.
Gather market data and share with origination group.
Maintain market data databases and summarize third-party reports.
