Job summary

Pembina Pipeline Corporation is hiring a General Manager, Operations for Cedar LNG in Kitimat, BC. You will lead safe, reliable, compliant operations and build the operating model, systems, and team capabilities to support Canada's largest Indigenous majority‑owned LNG project.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in LNG, FLNG, upstream/midstream or energy infrastructure with strong leadership.
• Strong understanding of process safety, asset integrity, and environmental compliance.
• Excellent communicator with collaboration and influence across levels.

Responsibilities

• Establish and lead a safety culture aligned with corporate standards.
• Lead Cedar LNG Operations with integrity, transparency, and environmental stewardship.
• Build and sustain a high‑performing leadership team and foster collaboration.
• Develop an inclusive operating culture across a diverse workforce.
• Champion local hiring and Indigenous workforce participation commitments.
• Translate strategic vision into site operating plans, budgets, and targets.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and balance IMO with local safety rules.
• Act as strategic commander during emergency response events.
• Maintain stakeholder relationships with government and local providers.
• Own operational performance including OPEX, contracts, and ESG risk management.
• Drive reliability, digital enablement, emissions reduction, and productivity.
