Job summary

LNG Canada is seeking a Senior Project Specialist, Brownfield Projects, to join the Asset Brownfield Projects team in Calgary, AB or Kitimat, BC. You will help establish systems and tools to support phased brownfield project execution and ensure plant availability, process safety compliance, and overall safety performance through EPC and construction contractors.

The role is based full-time in either Calgary or Kitimat, with regular travel between sites, particularly during the initial months.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering required; P.Eng. designation preferred.
• Significant project engineering experience with engineering, EPC/EP, and construction contractors.
• Experience delivering brownfield projects, preferably LNG/oil and gas.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a portfolio of brownfield projects, applying appropriate governance and stakeholder engagement throughout the project lifecycle.
• Lead projects through gates with sufficient definition, planning, assurance, and execution readiness.
• Identify and mitigate project risks while coordinating SIMOPS in an operating LNG facility.
