Job summary

Henry Schein One seeks a General Manager, Academic to lead the global growth of the Academic Product portfolio with full P&L accountability. You will drive revenue, profitability, and market share through strategic sales, marketing, and customer success initiatives.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of progressive leadership in Enterprise SaaS, selling into public sector.
  • Proven record of scaling businesses globally with direct P&L ownership.
  • Strong commercial and financial acumen – revenue, growth, budgeting.
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams (Sales, Marketing, Operations, Product, Customer Success).
  • Experience bringing products to new markets.

Job description

As General Manager, Academic, you will lead the global growth and success of Henry Schein One’s Academic Product portfolio. With full P&L accountability, you’ll drive revenue, profitability, and market share through innovative sales and marketing strategies, operational excellence, and customer success.

This role requires a dynamic leader who can scale SaaS businesses internationally, build and inspire cross-functional teams, and strengthen our partnerships across academic institutions, dental distributors, and global industry bodies. You will be responsible for ensuring Henry Schein One continues to set the standard for academic dental software worldwide.

What You’ll Bring

10+ years of progressive leadership in Enterprise SaaS, selling into public sector

Proven record of scaling businesses globally with direct P&L ownership.

Strong commercial and financial acumen - revenue, growth, budgeting.

Experience leading cross-functional teams (Sales, Marketing, Operations, Product, Customer Success).

Familiarity with software development methodologies and how they align to business outcomes.

Strong understanding of the relationship between Product & Engineering

Experience bringing products to new markets

Exceptional stakeholder management, negotiation, and collaboration skills.

Experience coaching leaders and developing talent while delivering results.

The posted range for this position is CAD $220000 – CAD $250000, representing the expected starting base salary for candidates from entry‑level proficiency in the role through to highly experienced.
