Join AZAD as CAD Technician and work interactively with electrical engineers and electrical engineering technicians in support of a Commissioning and Testing organization within a regional electric utility . This individual will facilitate CAD revisions of substation electrical drawings and utilize MicroStation CAD software and/or other software applications to prepare project designs, sketches, final / working drawings, and draft contract documents related to construction design packages.
This is a 2 years plus consultant position with high probability of long term and ongoing continued employment. This position is hybrid in Vancouver, WA with onsite 1 - 2 days weekly.The hourly pay rate range for this position (which includes a health and welfare fringe benefit of $4.57) is$24.47 - $29.00 depending on related qualifications and experience, as well as composition of selected compensation package.
The ideal candidate must possess the following qualifications and experience:
High school diploma or GED is required.
An associate or higher college degree in a technical CAD training program is preferred.
6 months of CAD drafting experience is required.
Experience with MicroStation CAD software.
Experience with ProjectWise.
Experience with Microsoft Office Suite software including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.
