Job summary

Sogeclair in Montreal seeks a CAD/PLM specialist to define and document CAD standards using NX, develop NX data management workflows in Teamcenter, and integrate CAD tools NX, CATIA V5 with Teamcenter.

You will mentor users, review models for standards compliance, and collaborate with engineering, IT and Siemens partners to improve processes; strong communication and training skills required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering and 5+ years of relevant industrial experience with Siemens NX software.
• Proficiency in NX and CATIA V5 CAD software.
• Strong knowledge of GD&T/PMI and engineering standards.
• Good overall knowledge of PLM principles and experience with Teamcenter.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to train or mentor others.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Projects).

Responsibilities

• Participate in workshops to capture requirements and user stories.
• Interact with different parts of the engineering organization to ensure applicability of proposed solutions.

YOUR PROFILE IS ESSENTIAL TO OUR SUCCESS

• Familiarity with aircraft development (an asset).
• This position requires an organized person with leadership skills and able to work with a minimum of supervision. Logical and flexible mindsets, shows initiatives and demonstrate overview/detailed approaches.
