NARO MILLWORK CORP. in Toronto, Ontario is seeking a skilled cabinetry/woodworking professional for an on-site role. The position requires extensive experience in cabinetry, millwork, and built-in units, with the ability to read plans and operate woodworking machinery.

You will shape surfaces, assemble components, finish surfaces, and ensure joints are reinforced. A minimum of 5 years of experience is preferred, with valid driver's license recommended for site travel.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of woodworking or cabinetry experience required.
• Ability to read plans, specifications or drawings.
• Proficient with woodworking machinery and hand tools.
• Experience with CAD/CADD software is a plus.

• Operate woodworking machines, such as power saws, jointers, mortisers and shapers, to cut, shape and form parts and components
• Shape surfaces or edges of wood workpieces, using hand tools, such as planes, chisels, or wood files.
• Study plans, specifications or drawings of articles to be made
• Operate CADD and other computer software systems
• Trim joints and fit parts and subassemblies together to form complete unit and reinforce joints
• Sand wooden surfaces and apply veneer, stain or polish to finished products; prepare and apply laminated plastics
• Apply varnish, veneer, stain or polish to finished products
