Job summary

JobsMedia.io is seeking a skilled craftsperson to study plans and specifications for articles to be made, and to fabricate and finish wooden furniture and related products. You will cover layouts, assemblies, and repairs according to blueprints, models or templates, applying varnish or stain as required.

The role is a permanent position with a 40-hour work week and language flexibility (English or French) for work communications.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of experience in the field.
• 40 hours per week.
• Language of work: English or French.
• Permanent employment.

Responsibilities

• Study plans, specifications or drawings of articles to be made.
• Apply varnish, veneer, stain or polish to finished products.
• Repair or restyle wooden furniture, fixtures and related products.
• Lay out, shape and assemble patterns of metal, wood, plastic and other materials from blueprints, models or templates.
