Job summary

Kibbi Technologies Inc. is seeking an experienced cabinetmaker to join our on-site woodworking team.

You will operate woodworking machines to cut and shape parts for custom cabinets, study plans, and prepare the specifications needed to maximize storage and functionality. The role requires attention to detail, accuracy, and the ability to work in a fast-paced shop environment, with responsibilities spanning surface finishing, joints fitting, and cost estimation.

Qualifications

• Secondary school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
• 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in woodworking is preferred.
• Experience operating woodworking machinery is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Operate woodworking machines such as power saws, jointers, mortisers and shapers to cut, shape and form parts.
• Prepare specifications of custom-made cabinets to maximize storage.
• Shape surfaces or edges of wood pieces using hand tools.
• Study plans, specifications or drawings of articles to be made.
• Trim joints and fit parts to form complete units and reinforce joints.
• Sand surfaces and apply veneer, stain or polish; apply laminated plastics.
• Apply varnish, veneer, stain or polish to finished products.
• Maintain clean and safe work environment.
• Estimate costs and materials.
• Repair or restyle wooden furniture and fixtures.
