Job summary

JobsMedia.io in Montreal, QC is seeking an experienced cabinet maker to join our custom cabinet shop. You will work on trim joints, fit parts, sand surfaces, and apply finishes to create high-quality cabinets and millwork.

The role requires 2–3 years of hands-on experience in cabinetry, attention to detail, and the ability to work 40 hours per week with occasional overtime. English or French language skills are accepted in the shop environment.

Qualifications

• Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
• 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in the field.
• Experience in cabinet making, millwork or kitchen cabinet production.

Responsibilities

• Trim joints and fit parts and subassemblies to form a complete unit and reinforce joints.
• Sand wood surfaces and apply veneer, stain or polish to finished products; prepare and apply laminated plastics.
• Apply varnish, veneer, stain or polish to finished products.
