C3/4 Digital Project Manager

Location - Mississauga, ON

The Digital Project Manager will report to the VP, Digital Solutions, and be assigned to the Cernavoda 3/4 Nuclear New Build project under the Director, Configuration Management. The role involves managing all aspects of digital solutions scope for the project.

This position aims to enhance project efficiency and transparency through advanced digital tools throughout the project lifecycle. It will support digital design streamlining and process improvements by removing barriers and promoting change.

The role requires liaising with digital team members, developing work execution plans, and ensuring project deliverables align with scope. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in project delivery, including engineering, procurement, construction, contract management, and project controls, along with relevant technologies.

Your responsibilities include:

• Maintaining digital scope and deliverables in compliance with contract documents, quality standards, and customer requirements.
• Leading digital scope activities, managing team members, and ensuring safety, quality, schedule, cost, and contractual adherence.
• Representing the Candu Digital solutions function, implementing best practices, and applying lessons learned.
• Setting up and maintaining project systems architecture and digital tools for engineering and non-engineering functions.
• Managing digital engineering tools for the joint venture and internal users, ensuring timely setup and access control.
• Upholding nuclear and industrial safety standards, including training, compliance, and performance enforcement.
• Ensuring activities comply with corporate standards on ethics, cyber-security, import-export, intellectual property, and security protocols.
• Overseeing procurement, subcontract management, and supply chain strategies aligned with risk, quality, schedule, and budget.
• Building and maintaining relationships with clients, partners, suppliers, and stakeholders.
• Approving purchase and change orders within authorized limits.
• Representing the company in project communications with signing authority for correspondence and invoices.
• Providing regular reports to senior management and clients.
• Offering feedback and recommendations for performance reviews.
• Managing human resources issues, setting performance expectations, and recognizing achievements.

• Has a BSc in Engineering or equivalent (asset).
• Possesses 8+ years supporting diverse projects including construction, manufacturing, or engineering services.
• Has 3-5 years leading teams.
• Experience in a nuclear environment is an asset.
• Knowledge of IT/IS solutions, data management, security, and digital requirements on large projects.
• Understanding of nuclear supply chain and materials management.
• Ability to build and inspire teams, lead by example, and uphold safety standards.
• Familiar with QA programs, construction drawings, project delivery methodologies, and safety cultures.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and relationship skills.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
