  • Satisfactory completion of Tuberculosis Screening form.
  • Satisfactory completion of Employee Immunization Record form.
  • First aid certification with CPR is required.
  • Food Safe Level 1 is required.

Responsibilities

  • Setup, clean and organize work stations with all necessary supplies.
  • Prepare ingredients for the day; wash, chop and season meat, vegetables, etc.
  • Prepare and cook menu items according to nutritional standards with other kitchen staff.
  • Handle multiple food orders at one time.
  • Deliver menu items to clients as required.
  • Store and dispose of any food properly.
  • Ensure sufficient stock and inventory of food, supplies and equipment.
  • Sanitize and clean work stations and kitchen supplies.
  • Comply with health and safety and sanitation standards.
  • Ensure that food is distributed in high quality and in a timely fashion.
  • Perform other duties as required.

Job Summary

The Cook at Phoenix Society is responsible for preparingmeals and following established recipes.
