Job Overview:

Responsible for executing ingredient strategic sourcing initiatives as directed by the Sr. Sourcing Manager. This includes ingredient innovation, BCPs/alternatives, NAFNAC, ensuring procurement compliance, and sourcing activities for secondary ingredient categories.

Key Responsibilities:

• Contribute to the execution of the company’s long-term procurement plan (LTP).
• Provide Subject Matter Expertise (SME).
• Reduce costs of purchased goods and services without compromising quality or business continuity.
• Develop and implement terms & conditions, RFQ, RFP, online bidding, and other sourcing programs to ensure value and cost efficiency.
• Resolve daily issues and escalate severe or chronic issues to the Sourcing department.
• Align business activities with the Sourcing department.
• Develop and manage procurement policies, processes, systems, tools, training, and auditing.
• Support other departments with inventory and procurement needs.
• Collaborate with Marketing on project launches, product discontinuations, and changes.
• Assist Supply Chain with material planning, inventories, and resolving supply issues.
• Partner with Operations, Finance, Quality, and R&D groups to provide procurement leadership and insights.

The Recipe For Success:

• Completion of a college diploma in Supply Chain Fundamentals or Business.
• Minimum of 5 years of procurement or sourcing experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with ERP or similar business systems.
• Knowledge of food processing manufacturing, high-speed packaging, and bakery ingredients.
