Job Overview

Responsible for executing ingredient strategic sourcing initiatives, supporting the Sr. Sourcing Manager, including ingredient innovation, BCP’s/alternatives, NAFNAC, ensuring procurement compliance, and sourcing activities for secondary ingredient categories.

Key Responsibilities

• Contribute to the company's long-term procurement plan (LTP).
• Provide Subject Matter Expertise (SME).
• Reduce costs of purchased goods and services without compromising quality or business continuity.
• Develop and implement terms & conditions, RFQ, RFP, online bidding, and other processes to ensure value and cost-effectiveness.
• Resolve day-to-day issues, escalate severe issues to the Sourcing department.
• Align business needs with sourcing strategies.
• Develop and manage procurement policies, processes, systems, tools, training, and audits.
• Support other departments with inventory and procurement requirements.
• Collaborate with Marketing on project launches, discontinuations, and product changes.
• Assist Supply Chain with material planning, inventories, and supply issues.
• Partner with Operations, Finance, Quality, and R&D for procurement insights.

Requirements for Success

• Completion of college diploma in Supply Chain Fundamentals or Business.
• At least 5 years of procurement or sourcing experience in manufacturing.
• Experience with ERP or similar systems.
• Knowledge of food processing manufacturing, high-speed packaging, and bakery ingredients.
