Join our team as a Buyer I at Prime Healthcare

We are seeking a dedicated professional to join our team, providing services and operational support across award-winning hospitals in areas such as supply chain, IT, cybersecurity, clinical engineering, capital procurement, medical coding, and project management. Our mission is to deliver quality, compassionate care to every patient, every time.

Responsibilities

The Bio-Medical Buyer will be responsible for purchasing equipment, supplies, and services using computerized systems. Key duties include inventory control, vendor communication, processing purchase orders and invoices, developing supply sources, negotiating prices, and maintaining purchase records. The role also involves preparing tender documents, developing policies, disposing of obsolete equipment, and maintaining purchasing files and catalogs.

Qualifications
  • 1+ years of experience as a Buyer preferred
  • Knowledge of procurement policies and procedures
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • Strong planning, organization, critical thinking, and decision-making skills
  • Excellent analytical, mathematical, negotiating, and communication skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office
Additional Information

We offer competitive compensation, including a salary range of $22.50 to $30.28 per hour, along with comprehensive benefits such as paid time off, 401K, health coverage, tuition reimbursement, and more. The exact salary will depend on experience and qualifications.
