We have an exciting opportunity for a Buyer, Materials to join our SCM team. Reporting directly to the Category Manager, Materials & Maintenance, you will be responsible for the effective management of inventory across TransAlta facilities and the development of the Critical Spares and Materials strategy in support of the Company goals. This role is based out of our office in Sarnia, Ontario. It is a full-time, office-based role with the flexibility of a hybrid work schedule (3 days in office & 2 days at home). Preferred schedule: 7am to 3:30pm EST.
