Job summary

Stelpro, Inc. in Lévis, QC is seeking a Buyer to join our procurement team. You will monitor requirements, purchase orders, deliveries, and inventory with strong organizational focus.

You will build reliable supplier relationships, identify product needs, propose alternatives during shortages, and develop cost-efficient purchasing strategies.

Collaborating with internal teams across Canadian sites, you will ensure smooth procurement operations and contribute to on-time, quality deliveries.

• Build and maintain collaborative relationships with suppliers, monitor their performance, and address disputes or issues as needed.
• Identify product requirements based on company objectives and projects and provide equivalent product alternatives in the event of shortages.
• Develop and implement effective, cost-efficient purchasing strategies to reduce procurement costs while maintaining product and service quality.
• Work closely with various internal teams to ensure the smooth operation of the procurement function.
