Customer Service Manager

Your role and responsibilities

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Buyer to support our Procurement team. The ideal candidate will assist with processing purchase orders, managing vendor confirmations, and supporting invoice and requisition tracking. This role offers a valuable opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced supply chain environment within a dynamic and supportive team. Key Responsibilities: Purchase Order Management

  • Process new purchase orders received through online requests (MODP, MOSE).
  • Follow up on purchase orders to update confirmation dates based on vendor responses (new confirmations or changes).
  • Ensure timely and accurate processing of TPM indirect product purchase orders. Vendor Communication & System Checks
  • Verify EDI-sent purchase orders to ensure successful transmission and system acknowledgment.
  • Liaise with suppliers to confirm delivery dates and resolve discrepancies. Reporting & Analysis
  • Generate and distribute the Open Order Report for the Order Desk team.
  • Produce the Open Requisition Report to identify and follow up on pending or unprocessed requisitions. Invoice & Data Management
  • Support invoice processing for the Motion division, identifying and resolving mismatches or exceptions. Continuous Improvement
  • Propose improvements to streamline procurement processes and enhance data accuracy.

Qualifications For The Role

  • Currently enrolled in a university program, preferably in Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Strong organizational skills with excellent time management and attention to detail.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel; experience with Visio and PowerPoint is an asset.
  • SAP knowledge or previous experience with ERP systems is considered an asset.
  • Bilingual: French and English, both written and spoken. French is required. English is also required to communicate with customers outside Quebec on a regular basis.
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
