Job summary

Great Asian Market P.A. Store in Prince Albert, SK seeks a dedicated meat preparation and display worker. You will prepare, cut, trim and portion beef, pork, lamb and poultry for retail sale, process cuts, label and package products, and ensure safe storage and sanitation while assisting customers in selecting the right cuts.

The role demands 40 hours per week on site, with on-the-job training provided. The wage is $19.50 per hour, and the position is permanent.

• Willing to be trained on the job.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, cut, trim and portion beef, pork, lamb and poultry for retail sale.
• Process whole cuts of meat into standard retail portions.
• Remove bones and excess fat using manual cutting tools and power equipment.
• Grind meats and prepare fresh meat products.
• Weigh, label and package meat products for display and sale.
• Ensure proper storage, rotation and handling of fresh and frozen meats.
• Provide customer service and assist customers in selecting appropriate meat cuts.
• Maintain sanitation and food safety standards.
• Monitor product quality and report inventory shortages.
