Job summary

The Crest Hotel in Prince Rupert, BC is hiring a Busser to join the Waterfront Restaurant & Lounge team. You will support service, clear and reset tables, and help maintain a clean, welcoming dining area for guests.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Busser or in hospitality is preferred but not required.

• Ability to work efficiently in a busy, fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to cleanliness and dining room presentation.
• Reliable and punctual with good communication skills.
• Availability to work days, evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Clear, clean, and reset tables promptly to restaurant standards.
• Run food and beverages from kitchen and bar to tables accurately and efficiently.
• Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, service stations, floors, and surfaces.
• Replenish water, bread, and other table items as directed.
• Assist with pre- and post-shift setup, polishing, stocking, organizing service areas.
• Handle dishware, glassware, trays, and service equipment carefully.
• Communicate with servers and managers regarding table status and guest needs.
• Support the service team with other duties to keep the restaurant running smoothly.

• No formal education is required for this position.


• Previous experience as a Restaurant Busser or in a similar restaurant or hospitality role is preferred, although we value attitude, work ethic, and willingness to learn.
