Responsibilities

• Lead project execution by guiding system changes, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet quality standards, including compliance with system ethics and PIPEDA.
• Analyze business and system issues to identify opportunities for innovation and optimization.
• Guide teams in leveraging emerging technologies and best practices to solve operational challenges.
• Monitor project progress, identify risks, and recommend corrective actions.
• Provide regular updates to stakeholders for transparency and informed decision-making.
• Ensure system developments follow best practices in security, compliance, and performance.
• Develop comprehensive project plans outlining tasks, timelines, resources, and milestones.
• Manage low-code applications like JIRA and QuickBase, providing guidance on architecture and development requests.

Experience

• Minimum 5 years of experience in system development and project management or similar roles.
• Experience designing operational database pipelines involving third-party apps, including low-code platforms such as JIRA and QuickBase.
• Proficiency in Python, SQL, and PowerShell scripting.
• Strong knowledge of business systems and reporting best practices.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with multiple stakeholders.
• Ability to develop solutions for constructability issues in complex situations.
• Knowledge of PIPEDA is an asset.

Availability

• This is a hybrid role requiring presence in the office twice a week.
