Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services Canada Inc. is seeking a Business Systems Analyst for Wealth Management in Toronto, ON.

The role requires 7–10 years of experience in requirements elicitation, business process analysis, and stakeholder management within Banking/Wealth Management domains. You will drive Agile delivery, create BRDs/FRDs, user stories, data mappings, and acceptance criteria, and collaborate across Business, Development, Architecture, and QA teams.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst in Banking/Financial Services or Wealth Management.
• Strong requirements elicitation, business process analysis, system analysis, and stakeholder management.
• Expertise in Agile delivery, user story creation, backlog refinement, sprint planning and reviews.
• Experience translating business requirements into detailed functional and system requirements with traceability.
• Ability to create BRDs, FRDs, user stories, acceptance criteria, data mapping and business rules documentation.
• Solid knowledge of end-to-end SDLC and system integration concepts.
• Experience supporting UAT planning, test case reviews and defect triage.
• Ability to analyze complex business processes and identify opportunities for optimization and automation.
• Proficient collaboration with Business, Development, Architecture, and QA teams.
• Hands-on experience with JIRA and Confluence in Agile project delivery.

Responsibilities

• Elicit and translate business requirements into detailed functional specs and system requirements.
• Lead requirements workshops and facilitate stakeholder alignment.
• Create BRDs, FRDs, user stories, acceptance criteria, data mappings and business rules.
• Collaborate with Business, Development, Architecture and QA teams to deliver solutions.
• Support UAT planning, test case reviews and defect triage during releases.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation in Wealth Management workflows.

Job Description:

• Business Systems Analyst in Banking, Financial Services, or Wealth Management.
• Strong experience in requirements elicitation, business process analysis, system analysis, and stakeholder management.
• Expertise in Agile delivery methodology, including user story creation, backlog refinement, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and in-sprint support.
• Experience translating business requirements into detailed functional and system requirements.
• Ability to create BRDs, FRDs, user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, data mapping, and business rules documentation.
• Strong knowledge of end-to-end software development lifecycle (SDLC) and system integration concepts.
• Experience supporting UAT planning, test case reviews, defect triage, and production issue analysis.
• Ability to analyze complex business processes and identify opportunities for process improvement and automation.
• Experience working closely with Business, Development, Architecture, and QA teams to deliver solutions.
• Hands-on experience with JIRA, Confluence, and Agile project delivery tools.
• Strong communication, facilitation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in Wealth Management, Brokerage, Investment Accounts, Client Onboarding, KYC, Trading, or Portfolio Management is preferred."

Salary Range - CA$ 90,000 - CA$ 120,000 Per Year
