Job summary

Qualifications

• College diploma or university degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, MIS, or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of experience working with enterprise systems.
• Experience with ERP/CRM in a manufacturing or similar environment.
• Strong data analysis and reporting skills; SQL knowledge a plus.

Business Systems Analyst

Description

Reporting to the Director, Finance, the Business Systems Analyst maintains, supports, and continuously improves CCC’s ERP and CRM systems. This role works closely with business users and subject matter experts (SMEs) to ensure systems are reliable, well-documented, and aligned with organizational needs.

Key Responsibilities

Systems Monitoring, Testing & Support

• Provide technical support and guidance to ERP and CRM users
• Identify and resolve ERP- and CRM-related technical issues, system updates, andperformance enhancements

• Execute functional testing for minor and incremental system changes
• Clearly document test plans, results, and outcomes
• Collaborate with ERP and CRM SMEs to identify outlier scenarios arising from functional testing
• Support testing and validation activities for larger ERP module deployment
• Perform post-deployment functional testing to confirm new features are working as intended
• Support ERP version releases and related user communications

Data Analysis & Reporting

• Collect, validate, and maintain datasets from internal and external sources
• Leverage AI to analyze trends in our enterprise data and work closely with business leaders to influence data-driven business decisions
• Develop dashboards, reports, and data visualizations using tools such as Power BI
• Maintain and update system reports while ensuring data integrity and accuracy
• Support data imports, exports, and integration troubleshooting

Systems Development & Integration

• Partner with business units to identify ERP and CRM new system requirements and improvement opportunities and lead the management and delivery of new capabilities
• Analyze existing system infrastructure and recommend enhancements
• Evaluate application and deployment of new technologies (AI) / software across the business
• Design, implement, and test system updates
• Support ERP SMEs in developing documentation for new modules and system functionality

Process Improvement & Project Support

• Work with SMEs across functions and businesses to understand system, processes and workflows and identify opportunities for improvements (e.g. change from paper-based workflows to digital workflows)
• Support IT and systems-related projects, including planning, tracking deliverables, anddocumentation

• Maintain ERP system documentation, version control, and upgrade records

Education & Experience Requirements

• College diploma or university degree in Business Administration, Computer Science,Management Information Systems, or equivalent

• Minimum 5 years of experience working with enterprise systems
• Experience with ERP systems in a manufacturing environment
• Experience with finance-related processes, such as G/L postings, reconciliation, financial reporting, and period-end process
• Experience with relational databases and data analysis
• Experience in using business intelligence tools such as Power BI
• Strong understanding of accounting principles
• Ability to research system issues and evaluate products or solutions
• Ability to communicate effectively in both technical and user-friendly language
