Job summary

TEEMA is seeking a Business Systems Advisor in Montréal, Québec. The role involves incident management and support for construction site systems, plus analysis, testing, and ongoing improvements to ensure system reliability and efficiency.

You will collaborate with IT teams, vendors, and end-users, administer system access, and participate in training and knowledge transfer. Fluency in French is required, with a strong emphasis on multidisciplinary teamwork.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 years of experience in functional and application support for information systems.
• Strong analytical, diagnostic, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in incident management, coordination, and root cause analysis.
• Solid understanding of application systems, integrations, data flows, and digital architectures.
• Proven leadership, autonomy, rigor, and a strong collaborative spirit.
• Ability to quickly grasp complex operational issues and propose adapted solutions.
• Experience with portfolio management/planning tools (Planisware and Primavera are assets) and knowledge of large-scale construction/project management information systems.
• Relevant certification or significant experience in an Agile or matrix environment is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Incident Management & Support: Provide functional and application support for construction site systems, including tracking, prioritizing, and coordinating the resolution of incidents, service requests, and evolution demands.
• Analysis & Diagnostics: Perform necessary functional analyses, diagnose underlying causes of issues, and recommend appropriate solutions or corrective measures.
• Collaboration: Work alongside IT teams, vendors, and end-users to resolve application issues and participate in maintenance, evolution, and continuous improvement activities.
• Quality & Improvement: Produce analyses and performance indicators related to service quality and system stability; identify operational pain points and recommend improvements to increase reliability and efficiency.
• Operations & Administration: Administer system access, parameters, and reference data; ensure the production and maintenance of functional documentation and operating procedures.
• User Support: Accompany users, provide necessary support, and contribute to training and knowledge transfer activities.
• Testing: Participate in the planning and execution of functional and integrated tests.
