Job summary

Northern Credit Union Limited in Timmins is seeking a Business Relationship Manager to proactively manage and grow a portfolio by developing and maintaining strong member relationships across Timmins, Kirkland Lake and Englehart markets.

Reporting to the Director of Business Relationship Banking, you will work with a BR Analyst to analyze portfolios, review accounts for compliance, and promote growth through marketing, events and networking while leveraging centers of influence.

Qualifications

• University degree in Business or related field preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of related experience.
• Strong knowledge of financial statements.
• Solid understanding of credit structure.
• Ability to develop and maintain a network of contacts regionally.
• Familiarity with Timmins region and SME focus is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Proactively manage and grow a portfolio by developing and maintaining strong member relationships across Timmins, Kirkland Lake and Englehart.
• Collaborate with a Business Relationship Analyst to provide analyses and recommendations.
• Oversee ongoing reporting management (Past Due, Security Deficiencies, Smartsheet).
• Review current accounts annually to ensure compliance and product fit.
• Promote growth through marketing, events, networking, and centers of influence.

As a key player in the financial services marketplace of Northern Ontario, we are excited to announce that we are currently seeking a Business Relationship Manager in our Timmins Market.

Reporting to the Director of Business Relationship Banking, theBusiness Relationship Manageris responsible for proactively managing and growing a portfolio by developing and maintaining strong member relationships within the Timmins, Kirkland Lake and Englehart markets. They will work both independently and with a Business Relationship Analyst to provide analyses and recommendations on the various aspects of their portfolio. The successful candidate will be responsible for ongoing reporting management (Past Due, Security Deficiencies, Smartsheet), reviewing current accounts annually to ensure compliance and product fit, while promoting the growth of NCU through marketing, events, networking and leveraging centers of influence.

Preferred candidates will possess the following qualifications:

University degree in Business or related field is preferred

Minimum of 3 years of related experience

Strong time management skills and an intimate knowledge of financial statements

Strong understanding of credit structure

Proven ability to develop and maintain a network of contacts, both inside and outside the organization

Familiarity of the region, its culture and lifestyle, and a focus on small and medium-sized business would be an asset.

Salary Range: $84,100.00 - $105,200.00
