Job summary

Desjardins in Canada seeks a senior systems and infrastructure advisor to lead major IT projects and advise on strategic initiatives, policies, and infrastructure programs. You will coordinate with senior management and external partners to advance the organization’s IT goals.

The role requires a strong blend of technical expertise, stakeholder influence, and proven leadership across complex, multi‑sector initiatives. A French language requirement complements a solid background in IT operations.

• A minimum of eight years of relevant experience.
• Knowledge of French is required.

You lead and influence practitioners on business relations, development projects and complex, highly innovative strategic initiatives involving multiple sectors. You help develop and recommend strategic directions and business positions. Your initiatives require extensive knowledge of your field. You make recommendations on the planning and execution of operationally and conceptually complex projects and initiatives that require comprehensive analysis and understanding of the organization and line of business. Coordination is critical, so you interact with stakeholders working in a wide range of other fields. Interpersonal savvy is therefore essential. You serve as expert advisor and subject matter expert for IT infrastructure operations and other matters, as well as resource person and coach for senior management and decision‑making bodies. More specifically, you will be required to :
