GreenShield Canada is seeking a Business Intelligence Analyst to empower data‑driven decision‑making. You will design, develop, and maintain BI reports, dashboards, and metrics aligned with strategic goals.

Translate business requirements into technical specs, partner with data teams to deliver ETL, data warehouses, and cloud platforms, and ensure data integrity and governance. You will monitor KPIs and present insights to stakeholders in a hybrid Canada‑based role.

Qualifications

• Requires 3+ years designing and delivering BI reports/dashboard solutions.
• Strong SQL and data modeling skills with data governance focus.

THEROLE IN A NUTSHELL

The BusinessIntelligence Analyst enables data‑driven decision‑making by delivering high‑quality,actionable insights aligned to organizational priorities. Acting as a bridgebetween business stakeholders and technical teams, the role ensures analyticssolutions are scalable, accurate, and governed by enterprise data standards.Through proactive performance monitoring and analysis, the Analyst supportsstrategic and operational improvement across the organization.

Responsibilitiesinclude:

• Design, develop, and maintain business intelligence reports, dashboards, and metrics aligned with strategic and operational goals.
• Translate business requirements into technical specifications and partner with data and analytics teams to deliver effective BI solutions.
• Ensure data integrity, governance, and consistency by adhering to enterprise data standards and architecture.
• Monitor key performance indicators to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for continuous improvement.
• Conduct ad‑hoc and deep‑dive analyses to support leadership decision‑making and business initiatives.
• Present insights and recommendations clearly to both technical and non‑technical audiences.
• Support and enable business users through guidance on BI tools, data interpretation, and best practices.

WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• Post‑secondary degree in computer science, data science, mathematics, statistics, or a related field.
• 3+ years of hands‑on experience designing and delivering BI reports, dashboards, and scorecards using tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker.
• Strong technical proficiency in data querying, transformation, and modeling using SQL and related languages (e.g., DAX, Power Query, M).
• Experience developing end‑to‑end BI solutions, including ETL processes, relational databases, data warehouses, and cloud data platforms (e.g., Azure Synapse, Snowflake, BigQuery).
• Proven ability to work with large, complex datasets and translate business requirements into scalable, actionable insights while ensuring data quality and governance.
• Strong communication, storytelling, and collaboration skills, with experience engaging both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.

NICE TO HAVE

• Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Python, R) for advanced analytics or automation.
• Exposure to machine learning or predictive analytics concepts and their integration into BI workflows.
• Background in training or mentoring business users on BI tools and data literacy.
• Bilingual in French and English.

WHAT WE OFFER

Base Salary: CAD $59,688.00 - 91,109.00

(if eligible - add this) Additional compensation: Eligible for a discretionary target bonus.
