Job Summary
The Business Information Management Specialist III delivers expert-level support in business intelligence, data transformation, technical documentation, and testing for regulatory compliance functions. Working within the Compliance Data Enablement & Transformation (CDET) team, this specialist enables the development of robust reporting solutions, enhances data governance capabilities, and supports strategic decision‑making across compliance activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute recurring reporting tasks including dashboard refreshes, report execution, and scheduled data outputs.
- Contribute to project work involving new solution development, testing cycles, and documentation deliverables.
- Provide end-to-end BI support, including visualization, presentation, workflow documentation, and testing packages.
- Develop reporting packages, dashboards, and scorecards to support product design, customer engagement, account management, and business decision-making.
- Lead technical documentation standards and evolve a best-in-class testing framework for compliance BI solutions.
- Analyze, design, and develop data repositories, data warehouses/marts, data mapping, and ETL/data transformation processes.
- Support data modeling efforts for consumption by business users, data scientists, and analytics teams.
- Manage and direct analytical and design activities for information management solutions.
- Stay current on emerging technologies, BI tools, and business information management practices.
- Gather and refine data requirements through research, feature planning, UX considerations, and structured elicitation.
Required Experience
- Undergraduate degree or advanced technical degree preferred.
- 5–7 years of relevant experience (research tenure may count toward experience).
- Python — 5 years (expert level).
- Power BI — 5 years (expert level).
- Technical documentation — 5 years.
- Technical testing documentation — 5 years.
- Data transformation / ETL / data flows — 5 years.
- Strong problem‑solving skills and proficiency in multiple programming/query languages.
- Ability to work autonomously as a senior/lead contributor.
- Experience developing dashboards, reporting packages, and BI artifacts.
Nice‑to‑Have Experience
- Experience developing workflow tools using Power Platform (PowerApps, Automate).
- Experience with Databricks or advanced analytics platforms.
- Prior exposure to compliance, governance, or regulatory data environments.
