Role mission:
As a Business Development Team Lead at CUBE, you will be responsible for leading and developing a team of four Business Development Representatives in Toronto. This is a player coach role so you will also be driving our outbound activity and generating new leads for our sales managers within the Financial Services Industry .
Responsibilities:
Lead, mentor, and coach a team of 4 Business Development Representatives to achieve and exceed sales targets
Conduct regular 1:1s and team meetings to ensure alignment, motivation, and professional growth
Monitor team performance, track KPIs, and provide regular reports on progress to global BDR manager
Gaining a good understanding of our target industry & organisations
Identifying new business opportunities & conducting your own research to analyse prospective customer needs & challenges
Driving top of the funnel outbound lead generation to our target industry using cold calling, email & social selling
Securing meetings for the wider sales team & maintaining a solid pipeline of sales qualified leads
Whatwe’re looking for:
Proven experience in sales development, business development, or inside sales function (ideally within a SaaS business), with experience leading and mentoring a team (bonus points for selling into enterprise and/orfinancial services)
Strong understanding of outbound and inbound sales strategies, including cold calling, email outreach, and social selling
Strong communication skills & an ability to confidently present a complex solution to key stakeholders
Organisation & resilience – the role requires exceptional time & data management skills & someone that won’t become demotivated by rejections or objections
Excellent leadership, coaching, and motivational skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment
