Job summary

Labatt Breweries of Canada in Edmonton is seeking a Field Sales professional to drive territory volume, share, and distribution across Retail, On-Premise, and community channels. You will own annual territory planning, customer programs, and budget management while building strong customer relationships.

The role requires 2–3 years in field sales, solid budgeting, and proficiency with Excel/PowerPoint. A valid driver’s license is required, and a company vehicle is provided.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 2-3 years in field or packaged goods sales experience is a major asset.
  • Budget management experience, analytical skills, strong business acumen.
  • Strong organization skills with the ability to prioritize and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent relationship building and follow-up skills • Effective communication skills (both written and verbal).
  • Strong impact and influential abilities.
  • Computer proficiency with Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Must hold a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

  • Ownership of annual territory planning, individual customer planning, promotional evaluation and customer sell-back, competitive intelligence gathering and opportunity identification (with District Sales Manager approval).

  • Build strong business relationships with key customers and consumer groups.
  • Identify and leverage business opportunities (i.e., new customers).
  • To ensure execution excellence of National and customized programming.
  • Execution of call cycle and administrative duties (routine management).

SALARY RANGE:

Base Salary Range for this role is $52,000 - 58,400annually.

Starting Variable Compensation at Target:

This role is eligible for an annual variable compensation target of $20,125, paid on a quarterly basis, pursuant to the Field Sales Variable Compensation Plan.

  • Variable Compensation opportunities are contingent on quarterly individual performance and business results,pursuant tothe Field Sales Variable Compensation Bonus Plan; listedamountare targeted values andnotguarantees.
