Business Development Representative – Compliance Services

MapleComply is a young company offering compliance support, includingfractional CCO services, regulatory training, or compliance program development.

We’re looking for a persistent and proactiveBusiness Development Representativeto perform outreach and connect with Exempt Market Dealers (EMDs)and financial firms across Canada who may need compliance support. You will also perform cold calling, emailing, and research to find firms that may not yet be registered but could benefit from guidance and compliance solutions. This is a 100% commission-based, contractual role ideal for self-motivated individuals comfortable with cold outreach and lead generation.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct outreach to small and mid-sized EMDs and related financial firms
  • Generate appointments by means of proactive outbound prospecting
  • Schedule meetings between qualified leads and our compliance team

Qualifications

  • Comfortable with cold calling and prospecting via phone and email
  • Clear communicator with strong relationship-building skills
  • Post-secondary education in business, finance, or related fields

Preferred

  • Experience in Private Capital Markets (PE, VC, FO, EMD, etc.)
  • Good knowledge of Canadian financial regulations (ie. 31-103 and 45-106)
  • Bilingual (FR/EN) - nice to have
