Job Title: Business Development Representative (BDR)

Job Summary:

As a fellow Scribenaut in the role of Business Development Representative, you will be pivotal in expanding our reach within the veterinary community. You will identify and qualify potential clients, establish relationships, and set meetings for our sales team. Scribenote streamlines clinical workflows for veterinarians by automating manual documentation, enabling them to focus more on patient care. As the world’s first AI scribe for the veterinary industry, we leverage large language models (LLMs) to address real-world challenges and enhance efficiency in clinics. Key Responsibilities:

  • Research and identify potential veterinary practices and clinics that would benefit from Scribenote.
  • Conduct outreach through phone calls, emails, and social media to generate interest in our solutions.
  • Qualify leads and schedule product demonstrations for the sales team.
  • Maintain and update our CRM with lead information and engagement activities.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop strategies for lead generation and outreach.
  • Assist in preparing sales presentations, proposals, and other sales assets tailored to veterinary professionals.
  • Provide feedback on market trends and customer needs to help shape our product offerings.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 3+ years of experience in sales, lead generation, or a similar role, preferably in a software company or in the veterinary industry.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to engage with prospects and build relationships quickly.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Familiarity with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and sales engagement tools (e.g., Outreach, SalesLoft, Amplemarket, or Apollio.io) is a strong plus.
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Has previously had a quota carrying role.

Salary Range

We’re offering a total compensation range of $70,000 to $110,000 annually, which may include a mix of base salary, annual bonus, and equity. Additional benefits include comprehensive health coverage and opportunities for career advancement.
