Job description

Right at Home Canada is seeking a Business Development Representative for the Fraser Valley region, based out of the Abbotsford office. We are a trusted provider of personalized, quality home care services, supporting individuals in their homes. Your role involves promoting Right at Home services to referral sources to grow our brand.

The Business Development Representative is expected to conduct meaningful face-to-face meetings weekly with potential referral sources. Building relationships through calls, emails, and visits will generate sales opportunities and increase client inquiries. This part-time position offers 30 hours per week, with potential to become full-time. Compensation includes a competitive base salary plus commissions based on revenue generated, aligning your earnings with business growth.

Primary Responsibilities:
  1. Conduct outbound calls, emails, and visits to organizations such as Assisted Living Facilities, LTC, Hospitals, and therapy providers to develop a profitable referral pipeline.
  2. Respond to and document client and referral inquiries regarding services.
  3. Meet with potential clients and their families about our services.
  4. Identify and qualify leads from online and phone inquiries as sales opportunities.
  5. Meet and exceed billable care hour targets and help grow market share.
  6. Maintain a strong drive to succeed, persistently pursue sales goals.
  7. Follow up effectively with referral sources to nurture relationships.
  8. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
  9. Create quarterly and annual marketing plans targeting specific referral sources to meet KPIs.
  10. Document activities and communications with referral sources in our CRM system.
  11. Monitor community events for awareness opportunities and participate as appropriate.
  12. Assist in generating monthly newsletters and managing social media content.
  13. Participate in weekly meetings with the local office and corporate coaches to review progress and strategies.
  14. Share updates on referral activities, KPIs, and marketing efforts with your Office Manager and Coach.
  15. Use and promote Right at Home marketing materials effectively.
Candidate Requirements:
  1. Degree in Business Administration, Nursing, Social Work, or First Responder.
  2. Must have a vehicle and be willing to drive for work-related tasks.
  3. Quick learner of care services and able to handle client questions professionally.
  4. 3-5 years of experience in a sales environment.
  5. Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to multitask.
  6. Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software such as Inflowcare.
  7. Proven success in increasing market share; experience in home care or healthcare is an asset.
  8. Ability to work independently with sound judgment.
