The BDO strengthens CCMC’s ability to engage with industry, respond to evolving market needs, and support the adoption of innovative construction materials and systems in Canada. By combining engineering knowledge, private-sector experience, and strategic business insight, the BDO helps ensure CCMC remains responsive, relevant, and well positioned to support housing innovation and the broader construction sector while advancing NRC’s strategic objectives.

Bachelor’s degree in Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or equivalent.
Additional education in business, management, or commercialization (MBA or equivalent business experience) would be an asset.|

The intent of this hiring action is to staff this position at theRCO-3/4level, which is a mid-career level positionlevel position with a salary range of $119,688 to $168,192. NOTE: Please note that the full RO/RCO salary scale has five levels. Salary determination will be based on a review of the candidate’s expertise, outcomes and impacts of their previous work experience relative to the requirements of the level. As such, the initial salary could be within another level of the RO/RCO salary scale (i.e. above or below the intended level for this position). In addition, the incumbent will receive the Bilingualism Bonus of $800 per year.
