The EcoStruxure Automation Expert (EAE) is an open, software-defined solution that provides hardware independence, empowering end users to choose the fit-to-purpose solution, scaling up or down based on market demands.

What will you do?

We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Business Development lead to drive revenue growth for EcoStruxure Automation Expert (EAE)—a cutting-edge, software-defined industrial automation solution. You will focus on identifying, researching, and closing opportunities by expanding market awareness, influencing key decision-makers, and driving adoption among system integrators, OEMs, and industrial end-users. With this new solution, Schneider Electric aims to expand beyond its traditional market segments and customer base.

  • Sales & Revenue Growth
    • Drive commercial success through consultative and prescriptive sales techniques.
    • Identify, qualify, and nurture high-potential business opportunities, including pilot projects, proof-of-concept (PoC) implementations, and full-scale rollouts of EAE.
    • Collaborate with channel partners, system integrators, and EPC firms to develop joint go-to-market strategies.
    • Build a diversified, multiyear pipeline to continuously generate opportunities.
    • Manage the pipeline diligently to ensure revenue growth.
  • Market Development & Strategy Execution
    • Develop and execute a go-to-market strategy that positions EAE as a disruptive open automation platform.
    • Identify market trends and align business plans to achieve growth in key segments.
    • Understand customer pain points and build trust to facilitate change management for deploying automation solutions.
  • Collaboration
    • Develop and maintain strong relationships with engineering, operations, IT, and executive decision-makers to promote EAE adoption.
    • Collaborate internally with lines of business, offer managers, and other stakeholders to support EAE growth.
    • Represent the voice of the customer internally and influence roadmaps based on market insights.
    • Work closely with EAE COE, product management, marketing, and customer success teams to align solutions with market needs.
    • Coordinate with pre-sales, solution, and application specialists to develop and present tailored automation solutions using EAE.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Automation, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in business development, especially in building pipelines for new product introductions.
  • A deep understanding of industrial automation and its applications.
  • Ability to translate customer problems into compelling business value propositions.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to travel up to 50%.
