Job description

Position objective:

The Business Development Manager (BDM) is responsible for the performance of new cars, pre-owned cars, service, and parts within the assigned region. The BDM will develop Porsche Centers based on specific KPIs, demonstrating strong analytical, problem-solving, and management skills, along with the confidence to motivate a geographically dispersed stakeholder group.

Primary Responsibilities:

  1. Achieve monthly and annual sales objectives for new vehicles, pre-owned vehicles, service, and parts, by model line and dealer.
  2. Conduct on-site dealer visits and provide feedback to Porsche Cars Canada Ltd. (PCL) departments.
  3. Review and analyze KPIs across all business areas to identify growth opportunities and ensure long-term dealer profitability.
  4. Manage the annual Dealer Business, focusing on Performance margin and the Premier Porsche Center Scorecard.
  5. Implement dealer action plans, document deliverables via contact reports, and follow up accordingly.
  6. Support the rollout of dealer strategies and monitor progress.
  7. Monitor and discuss achievement of Marketing scorecard KPIs.
  8. Support the implementation of new business fields.
  9. Monitor utilization of the sales funnel, including leads, order intake, and order bank.
  10. Collaborate with internal teams such as Sales Programs, Marketing, and Retail Development to grow and optimize dealer performance.
  11. Coordinate with the Director, After Sales, to focus on After Sales Business Development.
