Business Development Manager - Medical Sales

Mainline Medical is a family-owned business that has been supplying healthcare professionals with high-quality medical products for over 25 years. We are excited to announce the launch of our new venture specifically targeting growth in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA). To lead this initiative, we are looking for an ambitious and driven Business Development Manager who will play a pivotal role in developing our local market presence.

Job Summary :

We are seeking a proactive, results-oriented Business Development Manager to spearhead new business opportunities within the GTA. This role is ideal for an energetic professional with strong "hunter" instincts, who excels at prospecting, cold calling, and cultivating new client relationships. The successful candidate will have exceptional relationship-building skills, enabling them to effectively engage prospects, build trust, and support them in making confident purchasing decisions.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Identify and engage potential clients through proactive outreach, including cold calling and networking.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers.
  • Present and promote our products and solutions to healthcare professionals.
  • Understand client needs and provide tailored recommendations.
  • Meet and exceed sales targets and performance metrics.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless customer experience.
  • Maintain accurate records in the CRM and provide regular sales reports.

Qualifications & Experience :

  • Proven track record in sales, preferably in medical, dental, or healthcare-related industries.
  • Strong prospecting and cold-calling skills; must be comfortable generating leads.
  • Ability to build trust quickly and guide clients toward purchasing decisions.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Highly self-motivated with strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Experience using CRM software and other sales tools.
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel within the GTA.
