Job summary

Northern Business Intelligence in Vancouver seeks a Business Development Manager to grow the client base in the fleet software space. Reporting to the Head of Sales, you will cultivate relationships, present our solutions, and drive revenue growth across assigned regions.

You will manage the sales cycle from prospecting to close, forecast activity in Salesforce, collaborate with product and support teams, and travel as required.

Qualifications

  • 3–5 years in consultative/solution sales role(s).
  • Track record of success in achieving sales quotas.
  • Clear written and spoken communication.
  • Strong analytical, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Experience interacting with diverse technical and non-technical groups.

Responsibilities

Business Development Manager– Northern BI
Reports to

Head of Sales

Position Overview

Reporting to the Head of Sales, the Business Development Manager will look for new opportunities to grow Northern Business Intelligence’s client base. As a member of the Business Development team, you’ll utilize your experience developing relationships, utilize your strong analytical skills, and helping clients implement our leading-edge software solutions in the fleet industry!

Responsibilities
  • Develop and manage positive ongoing relationships with customers, prospective customers, and key partners.

  • Work with internal team members to ensure the sale-to-driver process is seamless.
  • Travel *as required.
What You Bring
  • 3-5 years’ experience in consultative/solution sales role(s)
  • Track record of success in achieving sales quotas.
  • Ability to communicate, write and present clearly and effectively.
  • Mature verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong analytical, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Strong computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and salesforce.com.
  • Flexible, agile, and able to adapt quickly and effectively to new situations.
  • Ability to work both as part of a team and independently.
  • Ability to interact with diverse technical and non-technical groups, spanning all organizational levels.
  • Telematics or fleet Industry experience is considered asset
  • Bilingualism is an asset but is not a firm requirement for this roles.
