As a Business Development Coordinator, you will support the full sales lifecycle for our industrial projects and client accounts across the United States and Canada. This role involves lead generation, client engagement, and market analysis while ensuring seamless coordination of business development activities. The ideal candidate has strong project management skills, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and possesses excellent communication abilities. You will play a critical role in fostering client relationships and driving revenue growth through strategic sales initiatives.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Support the business development team in lead generation, prospecting, and market analysis.
  • Identify and evaluate client Requests for Proposals (RFPs), assist in developing win strategies, and support proposal preparation.
  • Conduct outbound prospecting through email, LinkedIn outreach, and cold calling to engage potential clients and schedule meetings.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, pipeline status, and client interactions.
  • Foster relationships with new and existing clients to drive business growth.
  • Represent CAM at trade shows, conferences, and marketing events to promote services and expand industry connections.
  • Travel as needed to support client meetings and business development initiatives.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to expand CAM’s service offerings within existing client accounts.

Qualifications:

  • 1–5 years of experience in a relevant field, such as industrial services, construction, engineering, project management, business development, or sales within the manufacturing or industrial sector.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing, Business Administration, Construction Technology, or a related field.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence clients.
  • High level of self-awareness and emotional intelligence, with strong relationship-building abilities.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Self-motivated, adaptable, and results-driven, with a commitment to continuous learning.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive, innovative approach to business challenges.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365; experience with CRM tools and professional presentations is a plus.
