At Triumvirate, we strive to WOW both our employees and our customers. Our unique culture fosters growth, development, education, and creativity.

Reporting to our National Sales Development Manager, you will be trained by some of the industry's best. This role includes a comprehensive training program, professional development opportunities, and the full support of a team committed to your success.

What to Expect:

  • Hands-On Training: Your journey begins with one month of immersive, hands-on field training alongside experienced professionals at client sites. This experience will provide a thorough understanding of our services, business model, and customer solutions.
  • Sales Training in Boston: After field training, you’ll attend up to two weeks of in-person sales training at our Boston headquarters, depending on your learning needs and schedule.
  • Relocation: After completing training in Boston, you will return to our Niagara Falls, Canada office to begin your full-time role.

This role offers on-target earnings (OTE) of $120,000 CAD, which includes a competitive base salary and uncapped commission potential.

Responsibilities:

  • Partner with the Sales Team to identify and qualify potential customers and target markets.
  • Utilize a variety of outreach methods—cold calls, email campaigns, and social media engagement—to generate new business opportunities.
  • Manage and nurture leads by scheduling appointments, following up consistently, and tracking pipeline progress.
  • Collaborate with team members to develop and refine strategies for achieving sales goals.
  • Learn and effectively use various sales and prospecting tools.
  • Leverage CRM software to organize, track, and optimize all sales activities.
  • Learn, practice, and eventually master the consultative sales process.
  • Gain a deep understanding of prospects’ goals and challenges to provide relevant solutions.
  • Consult with clients on their environmental and sustainability goals, helping them navigate compliance and best practices.
  • Provide regular activity and results reports to management to demonstrate progress and inform strategy.
  • Attend industry networking events to represent Triumvirate Environmental and identify potential clients and partners.
  • Build a strong internal reputation by maintaining positive relationships with field personnel and internal departments.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Environmental Science, Environmental Studies, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Eagerness to learn and grow professionally, with a positive and enthusiastic attitude.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong sense of urgency, efficiency, and effectiveness in task completion.
  • Ability to quickly build and maintain relationships with prospective clients and colleagues.
  • Exceptional time management and organizational skills, with the flexibility to adapt to change and shifting priorities.
  • A team player with a strong willingness to support others.
  • Capable of working independently as well as collaboratively.
  • Demonstrated interest in pursuing a career in sales.
  • Legally eligible to work in Canada without the need for future sponsorship.
  • Must have reliable transportation.
  • Willing to undergo a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) check, criminal background check, pre-employment physical, and drug screening (including THC).
  • Participation in random drug screening (including THC) will be required post-employment, in accordance with our commitment to a safe and healthy workplace.

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way.
